What's New This July?

Hello, Educators and Families!

Here is what’s new in kids yoga at Sprouts Yoga HQ and Childcare Centres across Melbourne!

We went on a Super Feelings Adventure! We learned how to move our body in yoga poses and use pitter patter raindrops to self-massage our head and face to calm our minds and bodies.

The focus pose for the month was Shark Pose (also known as Bow Pose)! It has many positive benefits for kids, like opening shoulders, relieving tightness and improving posture.

We practised a meditative breathing technique that puts big smiles on kids’ faces called Birthday Cake Breath to feel more calm and happy.

We also revisited the book Sloth And Smell The Roses by best-selling authors Eunice and Sabrina Moyle. To focus on the powerful message, “When everything is go go go, say hello to mindful Mo”!
