Hello, Early Childhood Educators and Families!

Here is what’s new in kids’ yoga at Sprouts HQ, childcare centres and primary schools across Melbourne!

We went on a My Fantastic Elastic Brain yoga adventure! We learned how to move our bodies in yoga poses and use pitter-patter raindrops to self-massage our heads and faces to calm our minds and bodies.

The focus pose for the month was Warrior 2 Pose! It has many positive benefits for kids, like opening our chests and lungs, helping us feel energised, improving our circulation, and developing our balance.

We practised a meditation technique that puts big smiles on kids’ faces called Waterfall Breath to feel calmer and happy.

We also read a book by two of our favourite authors: Hang In There! with a powerful message about resilience, “Hold on, friend! Do not despair. When times are tough, just hang in there”!
