What's New This June?

Hello, Educators and Families!

Here is what’s new in kids yoga across Melbourne!

This month we discovered how moving our body in different yoga poses can help us do useful things like balance and be stronger!

The focus pose for the month is Horse Pose (also known as Vatayanasana)! It has many positive benefits for kids, like improving balance and strengthening legs, hips and torso!

We are exploring the theme of Inspirational Individuality and practising one of our favourite meditative breathing techniques called Bumblebee Breath to calm our minds and feel more positive within the moment.

We also enjoy reading the book Be Exactly Who You Are by Laura Gehl and hearing the powerful message “what makes us different, makes us great”!
