What's New This July?

Hello families and ah-mazing educators!

It's July and our winter woollies are well and truly needed!

Here are the kids yoga happenings in childcare centres all over Melbourne as we try to keep our bodies warm, this month!

Our yogi adventure theme for JULY is:

Healthy Happy Heroes!

How we will breathe...

With Bumblebee breath! We will use long humming exhales to calm our mind and body!

How we will move our bodies!

This month's yoga pose is Banana Pose or Crescent Moon Pose! Practicing this pose while standing (Chandrasana) has so many positive benefits for mind and body.

The benefits of Crescent Moon Pose include -

  • Children build focus and stamina

  • Little legs build strength

  • Our whole body becomes warm and improves circulation

  • Improves our posture, spinal health and coordination!
